THANK YOU
Does it have unfathomable power to completely change my life? Will it bring me absolute joy and happiness? Can it create miracles in my life and bring me the life of my dreams? Can it wipe out negativity and bring me an abundant life?? If I speak these words will God move all forces for my well being? Can the two words THANK YOU really do all this?
I ask all this because my life has been a rollercoaster lately and obviously what I was doing before wasn’t making my life very fulfilling. When I read all that THANK YOU can do for me from my “the Secret” rip off calendar, I was really pondering these questions. Then, I realized that I was never really good at saying thank you. It felt funny sometimes. I wonder why that is. Is it because I lack confidence and always felt like the compliments were untrue? Did I feel like I didn’t deserve the gifts people gave?
One friend told me once to try saying thank you in those instances and making it more of like a thank you to God. True humility comes from giving the good things in life, the blessings, the gifts, and compliments to God…by being grateful, by just saying THANK YOU.
So THANK YOU God! And THANK YOU everyone for coming last night and being such awesome friends and family members!
